Tunisia's Office of Civil Aviation and Airports reported Tunisian airports handled 8.8 million passengers in 2023, up 21.9% year-on-year.
Major airport traffic details are as follows:
• Tunis Carthage Airport: 6.6 million, +19.7%.
• Houmt Souk Djerba Zarsis Airport: Two million, +28.4%.
• Sfax Thyna Airport: 174,000, +46.1%.
• Tozeur Nefta International Airport: 18,400, +8.4%.
The country recorded over 75,300 aircraft movements, up 15.7%.
