Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) received 804,153 passengers (pax) in April 2019, indicating a significant 10.6% growth compared to the same month last year.
Meanwhile, QAIA witnessed 6,717 aircraft movements (ACM) and handled 8,979 tons of cargo, marking a 6.1% increase and a 5.8% decrease, respectively.
Throughout the first four months of 2019, QAIA welcomed 2,728,570 passengers, registering a 7.4% rise in year-to-date (YTD) pax figures, as opposed to the same period in 2018. Moreover, YTD ACM totaled at 24,463, recording a notable 6.7% surge, while YTD cargo stood at 31,587 tons, amounting to a 7.7% drop.
