Airport International Group has announced that Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) received 654,791 passengers (PAX) in October 2018, indicating a significant 9.2% increase compared to October 2017. Moreover, aircraft movements (ACM) rose a substantial 11.5% to reach 6,173, whereas cargo handled decreased by 7.9% to settle at 9,165 tons as opposed to figures from the same month last year.
By the end of October 2018, QAIA had welcomed 7,197,330 passengers, indicating a 5.8% year-to-date (YTD) growth in PAX measured against the first 10 months of 2017. Concurrently, YTD ACM came in at 65,261, amounting to a 2.9% rise, while the 86,685 tons of handled cargo resulted in a 4.1% YTD drop contrasted with the same period last year.
