Airport International Group (AIG) announced that Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) - has registered continued passenger traffic (PAX) and aircraft movements (ACM) growth for February 2014.
PAX traffic significantly rose by 19.3% this February to reach 534,122 PAX compared to 447,594 PAX in February 2013. Year-to-date (YTD) PAX witnessed an impressive 17.3% increase, settling in at 1,082,681 PAX as opposed to 922,663 YTD PAX during the same period in 2013. Similarly, February 2014 ACM rose by 9% to stand at 5,406 ACM in comparison to the 4,960 ACM recorded in February 2013. YTD ACM also went up by 8.3% from 10,229 ACM in 2013 to reach 11,079 ACM in 2014.
