On 19 September, Oman's National Centre for Statistics and Information reported the following traffic highlights for Muscat International Airport for the first eight months of 2024 compared to 2023:
Passengers: 8.8 million, +6.4%;
Domestic: 814,174, +3.5%;
International: 8.0 million, +6.7%;
Aircraft movements: 65,306, +4.3%;
Domestic: 6151, +5.0%;
International: 59,155, +4.2%.
