According to the latest statistics released by Airport International Group, 1,924,417 passengers traveled through Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) during Q1 2019 - marking a 6.1% growth in year-to-date (YTD).
Passenger figures compared to the same period in 2018. YTD aircraft movements totaled at 17,746, registering a notable 6.9% surge, while YTD cargo dropped by 8.4% to stand at 22,608 tons.
Throughout March 2019, Queen Alia International Airport served 676,447 passenger and recorded 6,162 aircraft movements, indicating a rise of 4.6% and 5.3% - respectively. Meanwhile, Queen Alia International Airport handled 8,442 tons of cargo, amounting to a 7.5% decrease compared to the same month a year ago.
