Casablanca’s Mohammed V international airport announced that it has welcomed 10 million passenger this year marking the highest flow of passengers in the airport’s history.
Air traffic at the Casablanca airport experienced sustained growth between 2009 and 2018 with an average annual evolution estimated at 5% for passenger traffic and 2.5% for aircraft activities.
The number of passengers transiting through the airport increased from 6.3 million passengers in 2009 to 9.7 million in 2018, while aircraft movements increased from 69,119 in 2009 to 86,565 movements in 2018.
