Oman Aviation Services (OAS), a subsidiary of Oman Aviation Group, has launched operations at the new cargo terminal at Salalah Airport and has started receiving freight applications from the new terminal which is considered to be one of a series of projects under the development of Muscat International Airport and Salalah, which was overseen by the Ministry of Transport and Communications. It is equipped with modern international specifications to cope with the rapid development and growth in the movement of cargo and freight in the Sultanate. The area of the new cargo building is 20,000 square meters with a capacity reaching up to 50 thousand tons per year.
