Hamad International Airport served 17.6 million passengers during the first half of 2016

Hamad International Airport (HIA) has welcomed 17.6 million passengers during the first half of 2016, registering a growth of more than 20% compared to the 14.6 million passengers served during the same period in 2016.
HIA also saw an increase in aircraft operations from January to June with a total of 118,069 movements, which represents a 17% increase in aircraft take-offs and landings at the airport, compared to the same period in 2015.
Cargo tonnage continued to grow by 20.3% totaling 817,792 tons during the same period.

استقبل مطار حمد الدولي 17.6 مليون مسافر خلال النصف الأول من عام 2016، مسجلاً نسبة نمو بلغت أكثر من 20 بالمئة مقارنة بـ 14.6 مليون مسافر بالفترة نفسها من العام 2015.
كما شهد مطار حمد الدولي زيادة في عمليات الطائرات من يناير إلى يونيو ما مجموعه 118,069 حركة، وهو ما يمثل زيادة بنسبة 17 بالمئة في حركة الطائرات من الإقلاع والهبوط في المطار مقارنة بالفترة نفسها من عام 2015.
وحقق الشحن الجوي ارتفاعاً كبيراً بنسبة 20.3 بالمئة بإجمالي حمولة قُدّرت بـ 817,792 طن خلال نفس الفترة.
