EgyptAir has signed a partnership agreement with KMK Investment and Safe Ports Holding to establish a logistics village at Cairo International Airport.
The agreement was signed by Capt. Ahmed Adel, EgyptAir Holding Company’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, Omar Khedr, CEO of KMK Investments, as well as the regional manager of Safe Port Holdings in the Middle East and North Africa, with the presence of Chairman of the Board of Directors of KMK Investments, and the president of Egypt Air Cargo Company Bassem Gohar.
The project will contribute to improving the efficiency of Cairo International Airport, as well as its absorptive capacity and enable the airport to keep abreast of the increase in the volume of goods and facilitate its flow to and from Cairo Airport in addition to Safe Ports’ security role that will contribute to the smooth flow of trucks.
