Passengers number and cargo at Bahrain International Airport decreased by 13% and 7% respectively in September 2017. Bahrain Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunication reported air traffic at Bahrain International Airport for the month of September 2017 compared to September 2016 as follows:
- Passengers: 718,191, decreased by 12.5%;
- Cargo: 17,329 tonnes, decreased by 6.9%;
- Aircraft movements: 7875, decreased by 9.1%.
