Abu Dhabi International Airport welcomes 1.86 million passengers in February 2016

Abu Dhabi Airports reported an 8.7% increase in passenger traffic at Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH), for February 2016, compared to the same month in 2015. A total of 1,863,942 people traveled through AUH in February 2016, exceeding February 2015’s figure of 1,715,540.
Aircraft movements in February 2016 reached 13,307 up by 3.5 % from 12,852 movements recorded in February 2015. Bangkok, London Heathrow, Mumbai, Doha and Jeddah featured as the top-five routes from Abu Dhabi International Airport.
Several destinations saw significant growth in passenger traffic, with Australia beating its February 2015 figures by 45.2% last month, and the United Kingdom recording an 18.8% increase in the same period.

أعلنت مطارات أبوظبي عن نمو حركة المسافرين عبر مطار أبوظبي الدولي في شهر فبراير من العام 2016 بنسبة 8.7 بالمئة وبإجمالي بلغ 1,863,942 مليون مسافر، مقارنة بالفترة ذاتها من العام 2015 والتي بلغت 1,715,540 مليون مسافر.
وتعامل مطار أبوظبي الدولي مع 13,307 حركة جوية في شهر فبراير 2016، بزيادة بلغت 3.5 بالمئة مقارنة مع 12,852 حركة في فبراير 2015، وكانت بانكوك، ولندن هيثرو، والدوحة، وبومباي، وجدة، الوجهات الخمس الأكثر ازدحاماً عبر المطار.
كما شهدت عدة وجهات نمواً في حركة المسافرين خلال فبراير، حيث تجاوزت استراليا الأرقام التي حققتها في فبراير 2015 بنسبة 45.2 بالمئة، في حين سجلت المملكة المتحدة نمواً بنسبة 18.8 بالمئة في ذات الفترة.
