Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) handled 1,841,782 passengers during the month of April 2018.
Key Traffic highlights:
• The top five destinations with the highest share in traffic through AUH in April were: London Heathrow, Manila, Jeddah, Bangkok, and Cairo.
• France registered the highest growth in traffic with 18.9% increase compared to the same month last year.
• India continues to hold the largest share in passenger numbers with 17.7% of the total passenger record for the month of April, followed by the UK with 7.4% of the market share.
April 2018 Traffic Summary:
• Total Passengers: 1,841,782 a decrease of 11.1%
• Aircraft Movements: 11,615 a decrease of 14.3%
• Cargo (Metric tons): 51,400 a decrease of 5.5%
Jan to April 2018 Traffic Summary:
• Total Passengers: 7,333,956 a decrease of 10.8%
• Aircraft Movements: 47,403 a decrease of 14.8%
• Cargo (Metric tons): 193,893 a decrease of 20.4%
