2.15 million passengers at Abu Dhabi International Airport in January 2016

Abu Dhabi Airports reported a 14.1% increase in passenger traffic at Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) for January 2016 compared to the same period in 2015. A total of 2,154,241 people travelled through AUH in January 2016, surpassing the previous January 2015 figure of 1,887,631.
Aircraft movements in January 2016 reached 14,514, up by 2.7% to 14,128 movements recorded in January 2015. Bangkok, London Heathrow, Doha, Bombay, and Jeddah featured as the top-five destinations from Abu Dhabi International Airport.
Several destinations saw significant growth in passenger traffic, with Italy surpassing its January 2015 figures by 79.2% in January 2016, and Australia posting a 37.7% increase in the same timeframe.

أعلنت مطارات أبوظبي عن تسجيل حركة المسافرين عبر مطار أبوظبي الدولي نمواً بنسبة 14.1 بالمئة في شهر يناير من العام 2016، ليصل عدد المسافرين إلى 2,154,241 مليون مسافر مقارنة مع 1,887,631 مليون مسافر في الفترة ذاتها من العام 2015.
وتعامل مطار أبوظبي الدولي مع 14,514 حركة في يناير 2016، بزيادة بلغت 2.7 بالمئة مقارنة مع 14,128 في يناير 2015، وكانت بانكوك، ولندن هيثرو، والدوحة، وبومباي، وجدة، الوجهات الخمس الأكثر ازدحاماً عبر المطار.
كما شهدت عدة وجهات نمواً في حركة المسافرين خلال يناير، والتي كانت أبرزها إيطاليا بنمو نسبته 79.2 بالمئة في يناير 2016 مقارنة مع يناير 2015، فيما سجلت استراليا نمواً بنسبة 37.7 بالمئة مقارنة مع الفترة ذاتها من العام 2015.
