On 10 October, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation of Kuwait reported that the total passenger movement to and from the Kuwait International Airport in September 2023 was 1,250,456 passengers which increased by 11% compared to the same month last year, and the aircraft traffic increase by 19%, while air cargo traffic increased by 8%, compared to the same month last year.
The movement of arriving passengers reached 675,768 passengers in September 2023, while the number of outgoing passengers was 574,688, while the total number of transit passengers reached 142,628, an increase of 44% over September of 2022.
The total aircraft movement that was operated to and from the Airport during September was 11,814 flights, compared to 9,933 flights in the same month of last year.
Regarding air freight movement, recorded about 18.9 million kilograms, with about 14.8 million kilograms of incoming freight and about 4.1 million kilograms of outgoing freight.
