Bilateral talks were held in Amman on 10 August, between the civil aviation authorities of the State of Qatar and Jordan.
The delegation of QCAA was headed by Mr. Mohamad Faleh AlHajri, in charge of Managing Qatar Civil Aviation Authority, and HE Capt. Haitham Misto, the Chief Commissioner and CEO of Jordan Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission.
The talks resulted in signing an MoU to liberalize the air passenger and cargo flights, allowing the designated carriers to operate on any number of flights, which helps to increase the cooperation in the field of air transport between the two countries.
These results will be positively reflected on the overall economic and investment activity and trade exchange between the two countries.
They also discussed matters of common interest in the field of civil aviation and ways to enhance and develop them.
