Morocco and Saudi Arabia signed a bilateral agreement on 28 September 2022 to boost air travel and develop their aviation sectors.
The agreement will boost the two nations' bilateral cooperation. It focused on the loosening of government control on the number of flights and their passenger capacities for designated air carriers.
The agreement also contains regulatory provisions relating to safety and aviation security, and outlines the process of commercial cooperation agreements between the two countries’ respective airlines.
