The Iraqi General Establishment of Civil Aviation signed with its UAE counterpart a Memorandum of Understanding that encounters all air transport operational and technical matters.
Director General of the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority, Ali Khalil Ibrahim, said "We look forward to further cooperation and coordination between the two countries in the air transport sector, including increasing the number of flights to Dubai and Sharjah," Ibrahim added, "During the meeting, it was agreed to facilitate granting entry visas to passengers from both countries which will enhance the collaborative work between the two nations.
For his part, the UAE delegation extended its thanks and gratitude for the efforts of the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority to sign the MoU between the two sides.
The Iraqi civil aviation authority plans to sign several Memorandums of Understanding with Arab and foreign countries to enhance cooperation and strengthen business relations with those countries.
