Cape Town Convention becomes effective in the UK on 1 November

On 1 November 2015, the Cape Town Convention and Aircraft Protocol (the CTC) will enter into force in the UK, almost 15 years after the UK first ratified it on 16 November 2001.
The UK submitted its instruments of ratification to UNIDROIT on 27 July 2015 and both the treaty (including specific declarations made by the UK) and its implementing regulations (the International Interests in Aircraft Equipment (Cape Town Convention) Regulations 2015 (the Regulations)) will now come into force on the same date at the beginning of November.

ستدخل اتفاقية كايب تاون وبروتوكول الطائرات حيز التنفيذ في المملكة المتحدة بدءًا من 1 نوفمبر 2015، وذلك بعد 15 عاماً منذ أن صادقت عليها المملكة المتحدة في 16 نوفمبر 2001.
وقامت المملكة المتحدة بودع وثائق تصديقها على الاتفاقية لدى الـ"UNIDROIT" في 27 يوليو 2015 بما في ذلك المعاهدة (التي تتضمن ملاحظات المملكة المتحدة) والقوانين المتعلقة بتطبيقها (قوانين الفوائد الدولية على معدات الطائرات [اتفاقية كيب تاون] 2015 و[القوانين]) التي ستصبح أيضاً حيز التنفيذ في مطلع نوفمبر 2015.
