Saudia will start operating non-stop flights between the Kingdom and Madrid on October 29, said Mr. Abdulrazaq Al-Bahar, Saudia Manager, France, Spain and Portugal.
The new nonstop flights will be operated 3 times a week using A320 aircraft with a capacity of 20 Business Class seats and 96 Guest Class seats for the service.
At present Saudia operates four weekly flights from Madrid to Saudi Arabia via Milan; two to Jeddah and two to Riyadh. “But this will change from 29th October 2013 to three frequencies but direct operation with no stopover in the Italian city of Milan,” Mr. Al-Bahar said.
Saudia flights to Spain after October 29 will be on the route Riyadh-Jeddah Madrid with return flights following the route Madrid-Jeddah-Riyadh.
