Saudia is working in conjunction with the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to implement the new directives from the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) concerning alternative security measures, permitting large portable electronic devices (PEDs) in the cabin on flights to the United States.
Saudia is currently working to meet all requirements outlined by the DHS with this regard.
On or before July 19, all guests traveling on SAUDIA flights to the United States will be permitted to take laptops and PEDs into the aircraft cabin.
A further update from the airline will be issued once the matter is finalized.
