Saudia launches new service for in-flight entertainment

Saudia is now offering on-board wireless entertainment segments on laptops, tablets, mobile phones and other devices supporting Windows applications. The new service is currently available on the airline's A320 aircraft heading to Frankfurt, Rome, Milan and Geneva stations in Europe in addition to a number of other domestic and international destinations.
The new service will enable passengers to browse and view the entertainment content once they install the special application custom-tailored for smart phones and devices. Users of PCs equipped with Windows may directly connect to the Wi-Fi network and go on to enjoy the entertainment content. This new service is yet another step within the organization’s plan to continuously enhance the on-board services.
This new service is currently available on six A320 aircraft and will be made available on the remaining aircraft very soon.

الخطوط السعودية تطلق خدمة جديدة لأنظمة الترفيه الجوي

أطلقت الخطوط السعودية خدمة مشاهدة البرامج الترفيهية لاسلكياً على الأجهزة الشخصية واللوحية والهواتف النقالة والحواسب المدعمة بنظام "ويندوز" على متن طائراتها من طراز ايرباص 320 المتجهة إلى أوروبا وتحديداً إلى محطات فرانكفورت، روما، ميلان وجنيف إضافةً إلى العديد من الرحلات الداخلية والدولية.
سيتمكن المسافرون عبر هذا النظام من مشاهدة المحتوى الترفيهي بعد تحميل التطبيق الخاص المعد خصيصاً للأجهزة الذكية، أما فيما يخص الحواسب الشخصية والمجهزة بنظام "ويندوز" فسيتمكن المسافرون من الاتصال مباشرةً بشبكة الـ"واي فاي" والبدء بمشاهدة المحتوى الترفيهي، وتأتي هذه الخدمة الجديدة في إطار خطة المؤسسة الهادفة إلى التطوير المستمر للخدمات على متن الطائرة.
تتوفر هذه الخدمة حالياً على متن 6 طائرات من طراز ايرباص 320 وسيتم تزويد الطائرات الأخرى بعذه الخدمة في القريب العاجل.
