Royal Jordanian registered 28% growth in passenger volume in February by transporting 240,000 passengers on board its planes, compared to 188,000 passengers in the same period last year, Jordan’s News Agency (Petra) has reported. Jordan's national carrier has said that the number of departures and flying hours increased by 9.3% and the seat factor increased by 7.5%, reaching 70%, while it reached 65% in the comparison period in 2011.
"The remarkable rise in the number of passengers during February is attributed to the success of the promotion plan designed by the company in the current year to increase sales, enhance revenues and face the challenges the company experienced last year", RJ President/CEO Mr. Hussein Dabbas said.
