Royal Jordanian scored 89.2% in on-time performance for the month of November 2019, which made it the second most punctual Middle Eastern airline in OAG’s monthly On-Time Performance report published recently.
The report says that Royal Jordanian had a great performance in November, when it registered 10.7% improvement over the compared month in 2018.
On-Time is calculated as a percentage of flights that depart or arrive within 15 minutes of schedule. For the report, OAG took into consideration 80% of the scheduled flights in November 2019; RJ's performance was measured based on 2,556 flights.
OAG had awarded Royal Jordanian a three-star rating for punctuality in the On-Time Performance Star Rating for the world’s airlines and airports last September for its performance for the period between June 2918 and May 2019 during which the airline scored a punctuality rate of 74.7%.
