Royal Air Maroc (RAM) will become the first African member of the global airline alliance beginning on April 1, 2020. As the newest member of Oneworld, Royal Air Maroc will add 39 new destinations in 23 countries to the alliance’s network. Royal Air Maroc’s subsidiary Royal Air Maroc Express will join the alliance as an affiliate.
Beginning April, Oneworld frequent flyers using RAM will be able to enjoy the full range of Oneworld benefits. Members of Royal Air Maroc’s Safar Flyer loyalty program will have access to rewards on all Oneworld member airlines.
In March, Royal Air Maroc will hold a ceremony in Marrakech to celebrate the development.
