Royal Air Maroc is set to launch a new line linking the southern city of Laayoune to Rabat, as of 11 March 2020.The new line will be operated twice weekly by a Boeing 737-800.

Royal Air Maroc is also increasing flight frequencies between Laayoune and Marrakech from two to three flights weekly.

The inauguration of Royal Air Maroc’s airbase in Laayoune took place in June 2019 and is part of its policy to support Morocco’s regionalization strategy and stimulate internal tourism and development in the region of Laâyoune Sakia Al Hamra.
