Royal Air Maroc launches flights between Casablanca and Doha to link Africa with Asia

Royal Air Maroc launched on 21 October 2015 their first flight from Mohammed V International Airport, which links Casablanca with Doha. The new route was inaugurated by H.E. Aziz Rabah, Minister of Equipment, Transport, and Logistics and Mr. Driss Benhima, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Royal Air Maroc.
The new launched route will be operated 3 times a week on board B787 Dreamliner aircraft that includes 274 seats, of which 18 of them are configured in Business Class. These new flights will enhance the daily flights operated by Royal Air Maroc’s strategic partner, Qatar Airways, between Casablanca and Doha. It is noteworthy to mention that a strategic partnership between both carriers was signed between both carriers in May 2015 to provide a number of privileges to the customers of both carriers.
This agreement includes codeshare arrangements between both airlines, which allows them to provide to the customers more travel options between Morocco and Qatar; it also gives the opportunity for travelers to travel through a single issued ticket throughout their journey and to check-in their luggage from their departure point and receive them at the final destination. With the new operated flights, both carriers will provide 10 weekly flights between Casablanca and Doha to link their networks in Africa and Asia.
الخطوط الملكية المغربية تطلق خط الدار البيضاء الدوحة لربط إفريقيا بآسيا

أطلقت الخطوط الملكية المغربية في 21 أكتوبر 2015 من مطار محمد الخامس، رحلتها الأولى ما بين الدار البيضاء والدوحة. دشن هذا الخط الجوي الجديد وفد رسمي برئاسة سعادة الوزير عزيز رباح، وزير التجهيز والنقل واللوجستيك، والسيد إدريس بنهيمة، رئيس الخطوط الملكية المغربية.
وتطلق الخطوط الملكية المغربية هذا الخط الجوي بتشغيل ثلاث رحلات أسبوعية على متن طائرات بوينغ من طراز 787 دريملاينر بسعة 274 مقعداً من بينها 18 في درجة رجال الأعمال. ويأتي هذا الخط لتعزيز الرحلات اليومية الرابطة بين الدار البيضاء والدوحة التي تؤمنها الخطوط الجوية القطرية، الشريك الاستراتيجي للخطوط الملكية المغربية. حيث وقعت الشركتان، في مايو 2015، اتفاقية شراكة تجارية استراتيجية توفر العديد من الإمتيازات لزبائن الشركتين.
يمنح هذا الإتفاق الذي يتضمن تقاسم الرمز بين الشركتين مجموعة من الامتيازات لفائدة زبائن الشركتين، بحيث يوفر لهم مزيدا من الخيارات ومزايا السفر بين قطر والمغرب. ويسمح لهم بالتنقل عبر الدار البيضاء والدوحة بتذكرة طيران واحدة على طول مسار الرحلة كما سيكون لديهم إمكانية تسجيل أمتعتهم من مدينة الذهاب حتى الوصول إلى الوجهة النهائية. بهذا ستوفر الشركتان 10 رحلات أسبوعية بين الدار البيضاء والدوحة، وامتداداً لشبكتيهما في آسيا وإفريقيا.
