Rotana Jet delivers live transaction using IATA NDC standard

Rotana Jet confirmed on 28 October that it is the first airline in Middle East and Africa to deliver live transaction using IATA's NDC (New Distribution Capabilities) standard which has been validated by IATA IT technical team. Rotana Jet became the first airline to achieve the NDC live deployment with the first publication of the latest NDC standard.
The deployment of NDC live with the first publication is the initial phase of the airline’s NDC journey with a roadmap to cover end to end in the coming months including reporting to BSP, interlining and TypeB messaging to the DCS. Rotana Jet's vision is to facilitate a single reference number for a passenger holding all data elements in a travel cycle including flights, ancillaries and non-air products like hotels, cars, activities etc which will simplify the travel experience of customers.

أكدت شركة روتانا جت في 28 أكتوبر أنها أصبحت أول شركة طيران في الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا تستخدم وتنفذ عملياتها التجارية الفورية عبر استخدام قدرة التوزيع الجديدة للأياتا (IATA NDC) والتي تم التصديق عليها من قبل الفربق التقني للأياتا. وبذلك تصبح روتانا جت أول شركة طيران تطبق أجدد معايير قدرة التوزيع الجديدة.
ويُعد تنفيذ معايير القدرة الجديدة للتوزيع الخطوة الأولى ضمن خارطة الطريق التي أعدتها روتانا جت، حيث تتضمن خطوات لاحقة سيتم تنفيذها في الأشهر القادمة، وأهما التواصل مع الـBSP، والانترلاين ومراسلات الـTypeB إلى الـDeparture Control System. وتطمح روتانا جت إلى إصدار رقم مرجعي واحد للمسافر، حيث يجمع هذا الرقم جميع عناصر البيانات في دورة السفر بما في ذلك الرحلات الجوية، وملحقاتها والخدمات غير المتعلقة بالسفر مثل الفنادق، والسيارات، والأنشطة وغيرها التي سوف تبسط تجربة السفر للزبائن.
