Qatar Airways will be increasing the capacity on its Perth route with an aircraft upgrade to a Boeing 777-300. The increase in capacity will go into effect on 1 October  2014.

The capacity increase from a Boeing 777-200 to a 777-300 will bring a 30% increase in seats on the direct daily flights to Perth Airport, with the number of seats rising by 1,064 per week.
