Qatar Airways to debut its first A380 on the London Heathrow route on June 17

Qatar Airways arrival of its A380 fleet moved one step closer with the announcement that from 17th June the aircraft will commence operations on the popular London Heathrow route from Doha’s new hub, Hamad International Airport.
The first of 13 such aircraft on order, Qatar Airways is set to receive three A380 aircraft in quick succession this summer and the new aircraft will commence operations on the QR003 and QR004 London-Heathrow route.
Qatar Airways’ A380 will feature a tri-class configuration of seating in First, Business and Economy Class, over two decks.
The new First Class A380 seat, recently revealed at the world’s leading travel show, ITB Berlin, features a 90-inch seat pitch, transforming into a fully flat bed, together with an expansive choice of entertainment options displayed on individual 26-inch television screens.
The arrival this year of the airline´s first A380 marks a significant milestone for the airline, whose future home, Hamad International Airport (HIA), has been specially designed to cater to the aircraft, with six contact gates designed specifically for the superjumbo. In addition, the maintenance hangar at HIA is able to accommodate two A380s simultaneously.

الخطوط الجوية القطرية تشغل أولى طائراتها من طراز ايرباص 380 على خط الدوحة - لندن هيثرو ابتداءً من 17 يونيو

أعلنت الخطوط الجوية القطرية عن اعتزامها تشغيل أولى طائراتها من طراز ايرباص380 على خط رحلاتها إلى مطار هيثرو في العاصمة البريطانية لندن من محطتها الجديدة مطار حمد الدولي في الدوحة اعتباراً من 17 يونيو. يأتي ذلك مع قرب تسلم الناقلة لأسطولها المرتقب من طائرات ايرباص 380.
ومن المقرر أن تتسلم الخطوط الجوية القطرية أول 3 طائرات ضمن طلبية تتكون من 13 طائرة من طراز ايرباص 380 على فترات زمنية متتابعة هذا الصيف، ليتم تسيير الطائرة الجديدة على خط رحلاتQR003 وQR004 لندن-هيثرو ابتداءً من 17 يونيو القادم. وتضم طائرة الخطوط الجوية من طراز ايرباص 380 ثلاث درجات للسفر هي الدرجة الأولى ودرجة رجال الأعمال والدرجة السياحية ضمن مقصورة من طابقين.
وسيشكل استلام الخطوط الجوية القطرية لطائرات الايرباص من طراز 380 علامة فارقة وانجازاً كبيراً للناقلة والتي سيتم قريباً انتقالها إلى مقرها الجديد في مطار حمد الدولي، الذي صمم خصيصاً لتلبية احتياجات هذا النوع من الطائرات، والذي يحتوي على 6 بوابات اتصال، بالإضافة إلى أكبر صيانة للطائرات والمصممة خصيصا لاستيعاب طائرتي من طراز ايرباص 380 في نفس الوقت.
