Qatar Airways Cargo introduces additional pharma express flights originating from Basel and Brussels

Qatar Airways Cargo has announced the launch of additional Pharma Express flights from the pharmaceutical hubs of Basel and Brussels to Doha, providing a unique and dedicated air service to the growing pharmaceutical industry. Basel and Brussels are both home to the headquarters of major pharmaceutical companies, while the Swiss chemical exports are largely shipped out of Basel.
Qatar Airways Cargo has added an additional weekly frequency, operating on Fridays, from Basel to Doha and will launch two additional Airbus A330 freighter services from Brussels to Doha on Wednesdays and Saturdays commencing 15 February. These newly added frequencies take the cargo carrier’s total Pharma Express flights to nine per week.
Pharma Express flights were launched by Qatar Airways Cargo in 2015 and currently operate from pharmaceutical hubs such as Brussels, Basel, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad, transporting more than 30,000 tonnes of pharmaceuticals each year. These routes are served by the Airbus A330 freighter aircraft, offering 65 to 68 tonnes of capacity each way.

القطرية للشحن الجوي تسيّر رحلات إضافية لخدمة فارما اكسبرس من بازل وبروكسل

أعلنت القطرية للشحن الجوي اليوم إطلاق رحلات إضافية لخدمة "فارما اكسبرس" من المدن الرئيسية للصناعات الدوائية وهما بازل وبروكسل إلى الدوحة. وستوفر الرحلات الجديدة خدمات جوية مخصصة لقطاع الأدوية المتنامي. وتعد كل من بازل وبروكسل مقراّ رئيسياّ لشركات الأدوية حيث أن الصادرات السويسرية من الكيماويات تُشحن بشكل كبير من بازل.
وأضافت القطرية للشحن الجوي رحلة أسبوعية أيام الجمعة من بازل إلى الدوحة ابتداءً من الثالث من شهر فبراير, بينما ستتجه طائرتا شحن من نوع إيرباص 330 من بروكسل إلى الدوحة كل أربعاء وسبت ابتداءً من الخامس عشر من نفس الشهر. وبهذه الرحلات الإضافية سيرتفع مجمل عدد رحلات خدمة فارما اكسبريس إلى 9 رحلات في الأسبوع.
وكانت أول رحلة لفارما إكسبرس في 2015 بينما تسير حالياً رحلات من مراكز الصناعات الدوائية الرئيسية عالمياً مثل بروكسل وبازل ومومباي وأحمد أباد وحيدر آباد لتنقل أكثر من 30 ألف طناً من الدوائيات سنوياً. وتشغل الخطوط الجوية القطرية طائرة الشحن ايرباص 330 لخدمة هذه الوجهات حيث تحمل الطائرة 65-68 طناً من الأدوية كل رحلة.
