Middle East Airlines and Kuwait airways announced a new strategic partnership, which will see Kuwait Airlines code, KU added to Middle East Airlines flights and Middle East Airlines code, ME added to Kuwait Airways flights operated between Kuwait and Beirut. The Bilateral Code Share Partnership will commence from 25th March 2018.
Kuwait Airways operates weekly 11 flights with 330/320 fleets and Middle East Airline operates 13 flights with 320 fleets from Kuwait to Beirut and Vice Versa.
Both ME and KU are working the possibility to incorporate the Frequent Flyer program for Code Share flights, so Passengers can be rewarded benefits of such Programs.
