Kuwait Airways received the third Airbus A320neo "Warh" at Kuwait International Airport Terminal 4, coming from the Airbus factory in Hamburg, Germany. CEO of Kuwait Airways, Engineer / Kamel Al-Awadi, accompanied by assistant Chief Operations Officer Captain / Abdel Halim Zidan, Director of the Engineering Department Eng. Faisal Al-Azmi and Director of Public Relations and Information Department Fayez Al-Anzi were all on board the plane.
On the sidelines of the plane’s arrival, Chief Executive Engineer / Kamel Al-Awadi said: “Kuwait Airways received its third Airbus A320neo aircraft (Warh), that is a part of a deal with Airbus for 15 A320neo to be received successively. And that would develop the services of Kuwait Airways to our valued passengers by opening the way to adding diverse destinations and wide options that meet the growing demand on short and medium term markets and give the customer a comfortable and interesting travel experience on modern style aircraft that includes high technology and a diversified entertainment system. "
Al-Awadhi added: "According to the plans agreed with Airbus, during the year 2020, Kuwait Airways will receive 5 other aircraft, 3 of which are Airbus A320neo, and two Airbus A330-800, to complete the delivery. And the arrival of the rest of the aircraft of various types until the year 2026. "
