Gulf Air has engaged with Hewlett-Packard (HP) to evaluate the airline’s existing information security solutions and, as a result, has most recently implemented HP latest generation of Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) to bolster its Information Technology security and network data protection.

It is noteworthy to mention that Gulf Air holds the global ISO certification for its information security management system and was certified with Information Technology ISO certifications in the three areas of Quality Management, Service Management and Information Security Management Systems. Gulf Air’s most recent IT achievements also include being the first organization in Bahrain to introduce Private Cloud Computing in its IT operations, further enhancing customer service for the airline’s passengers.
