Etihad expands Madrid service to daily flights

Etihad Airways announced its Abu Dhabi – Madrid route will operate daily with the introduction of three new flights each week, effective 1 June 2017.
Continuing to operate with a two-class Airbus A330-200 offering 22 Business and 240 Economy Class seats, the daily service will strengthen the air bridge between the two capital cities and appeal more to corporate and leisure travellers.
The extra flights will provide connections to key markets across the Middle East, Africa, Indian subcontinent, Asia and Australia. Popular connecting destinations via Abu Dhabi include Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, Sydney, Melbourne, Mumbai and Delhi.
From Madrid, travellers are able to connect to the network of Etihad Airways’ codeshare partner Air Europa to seven cities in Spain, including Barcelona, Bilbao, Gran Canaria, La Coruna, Palma de Mallorca, Tenerife and Vigo. Guests can connect with Air Europa beyond Madrid to destinations in South America and the Caribbean, including Asuncion, Cancun, Lima and Santo Domingo. Etihad Airways also offers links with codeshare partner Avianca between Madrid and the Colombian capital Bogota.
One of the airline’s 22 European destinations, Madrid has grown in popularity since Etihad Airways launched scheduled passenger services to Spain in March last year.
The additional services will provide a further 36 tonnes of freight capacity and boost visitor numbers to the heart of Spain’s tourism industry. They will also drive and support growing trade and cultural ties between the UAE and Spain, with many industries benefitting, including fashion, petrochemicals, construction, education, health care, transportation and tourism.

الاتحاد للطيران تعزز خدمة رحلاتها إلى مدريد لتصبح رحلات يومية

أعلنت الاتحاد للطيران عن تشغيل رحلات يومية بين أبوظبي ومدريد مع إطلاق ثلاث رحلات جديدة كل أسبوع، اعتباراً من 1 يونيو 2017.
وسيستمر تشغيل الخدمة اليومية عبر طائرة من طراز آيرباص A330-200 المرتبة بنظام الدرجتين، والتي تضمّ 22 مقعداً في درجة رجال الأعمال و240 مقعداً في الدرجة السياحية، وسوف تعزز هذه الخدمة حركة النقل الجوي بين العاصمتين وتجذب مسافري الشركات والترفيه.
كما ستوفر الرحلات الجديدة رحلات ربط مع الأسواق الرئيسية على امتداد منطقة الشرق الأوسط، وإفريقيا، وشبه القارة الهندية، وآسيا وأستراليا. وتشمل وجهات الربط الرائجة لمسافري الأعمال والترفيه عبر أبوظبي، هونغ كونغ، وبانكوك، وسنغافورة، وسيدني، وملبورن، ومومباي، ودلهي.
وأصبح بإمكان المسافرين الربط من العاصمة الإسبانية مدريد مع شبكة وجهات شريك الاتحاد للطيران بالرمز طيران أوروبا، وذلك للسفر إلى سبع مدن في إسبانيا، تشمل برشلونة، وبلباو، وغران كناريا، ولا كورونا، وبالما دي مايوركا، وتينيريفي، وفيغو، كما يمكن للضيوف أيضاً الربط عبر طيران أوروبا إلى ما بعد مدريد لوجهات في أمريكا الجنوبية ومنطقة البحر الكاريبي، مثل أسونسيون، وكانكون، وليما، وسانتو دومينغو. كما تقدم الاتحاد للطيران رحلات ربط مع شريكتها بالرمز طيران أفيانكا بين مدريد والعاصمة الكولوموبية بوغوتا.
ازدادت شعبية وجهة مدريد، التي تعد واحدة من وجهات الاتحاد للطيران الأوروبية البالغ عددها 22 وجهة، منذ إطلاق الشركة خدمات الركاب المنتظمة إلى إسبانيا في شهر مارس من العام الماضي.
ستوفر خدمات الرحلات الإضافية 36 طناً إضافياً من القدرة الاستيعابية للشحن، مع زيادة أعداد الزوار إلى قلب القطاع السياحي في إسبانيا، كما ستسهم أيضاً في دفع وتعزيز الروابط التجارية والثقافية بين دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة وإسبانيا، مما يعود بالنفع على العديد من الصناعات، بما في ذلك صناعة الموضة، والبتروكيماويات، والبناء، والتعليم، والرعاية الصحية، والنقل والسياحة.
