Etihad Airways signs agreement with Swiss-AS to drive group-wide maintenance strategy

Etihad Airways announced the signing of a relationship agreement with Swiss AviationSoftware (Swiss-AS), which will enable the airline and its equity partners to move to a common maintenance platform, and provide them with the required commercial and operating flexibility throughout their fleet.
Swiss-AS will also provide the software solution to Etihad Airways Partners including airberlin, Alitalia and Jet Airways, enabling each airline to now share technology more easily across the group.
Etihad Airways chose the AMOS solution as it enables the airline to operate its e-enabled Airbus A380 and Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft in accordance with regulatory requirements. Etihad Airways has five Airbus A380s and five Boeing 787 Dreamliners in its fleet of 120 aircraft. More than 200 additional aircraft are currently on order including 66 B787s and five A380s.
In addition, Etihad Airways plans to join forces with its equity partners to establish an AMOS Centre of Excellence which will optimise processes and platforms to boost efficiency, drive economies of skill and scale, and share best practices amongst the group.

الإتحاد للطيران توقع اتفاقية مع الشركة السويسرية لأنظمة الطيران لتعزيز استراتيجية الصيانة على مستوى المجموعة بالكامل

أعلنت الإتحاد للطيران توقيع اتفاقية مع الشركة السويسرية لأنظمة الطيران، مما سوف يُمكن الإتحاد للطيران وشركائها في الحصص من الانتقال إلى منصة صيانة مشتركة، ويوفر المرونة التجارية والتشغيلية اللازمة عبر أسطول الطائرات.
وستوفر الشركة السويسرية نظام الصيانة لشركاء الإتحاد للطيران بما في ذلك طيران برلين وأليطاليا وجيت ايروايز، وهو ما سيُمكن الشركاء اليوم من تبادل التقنية بمزيد من السهولة على مستوى المجموعة.
وقد وقع اختيار الإتحاد للطيران على نظام "AMOS" نظراً لقدرته على تمكين الشركة من تشغيل طائراتها الايرباص من طراز 380 وبوينغ من طراز 787 دريملاينر ذات التقنيات الإلكترونية الفائقة وفقاً للاشتراطات التنظيمية. وتمتلك الإتحاد للطيران خمس طائرات ايرباص من طراز 380 وخمس طائرات بوينغ من طراز 787 دريملاينر ضمن أسطولها المكون من 120 طائرة، إلى جانب 200 طائرة إضافية تحت الطلب من بينها 66 طائرة بوينغ 787 وخمس طائرات ايرباص من طراز 380.
وعلى صعيد متصل، تخطط الإتحاد للطيران بالتعاون مع شركاء الحصص لتأسيس مركز تميز لنظام "AMOS" على أن يعمل هذا المركز على تحسين العمليات والمنصات والأنظمة بغرض زيادة الكفاءة والفاعلية ودفع وفورات المهارات والحجم وتبادل أفضل الممارسات بين شركات المجموعة.
