Etihad Airways deploys Amadeus EMD and Airline Ancillary Services to enhance offering to travelers

Amadeus announced that Etihad Airways has become the first in the region to deploy Amadeus Airline Ancillary Services (AAAS), enabling travel agencies using the Amadeus system to book the airline’s Extra Legroom Seats for their customers.
The agreement allows travel agents to offer the products already available directly from Etihad Airways, leading to enhanced customer service in an increasingly competitive environment.
Etihad Airways has also signed an agreement with Amadeus to deploy Amadeus Electronic Miscellaneous Document (EMD), enabling travel agents to issue documents for all travel related services, including unbundled airline services. The solution provides travel agencies with a one-stop view of the customer’s travel choices in a single PNR. Integrated into the travel agent’s workflow, EMD is fully compliant with the latest industry mandates and has been endorsed by IATA.
Both solutions have been launched in the UAE under a pilot program and will be deployed in other markets globally.

الاتحاد للطيران تطبق نظام أماديوس للخدمات الإضافية لشركات الطيران وخدمة الوثيقة الإلكترونية متعددة الاستخدام

أعلنت أماديوس أن شركة الاتحاد للطيران أصبحت أول شركة طيران في المنطقة تطبق خدمة "نظام أماديوس للخدمات الإضافية لشركات الطيران" التي تمكّن وكالات السفر التي تستخدم نظام أماديوس من حجز المقاعد ذات المساحات الإضافية لعملائها.
وتتيح الاتفاقية لوكلاء السفر تقديم منتجات تتوفر بشكل مباشر من شركة الاتحاد للطيران، ما يؤمّن خدمة عملاء متطورة ضمن بيئة تتمتع بتنافسية عالية.
وقعت شركة الاتحاد للطيران أيضاً اتفاقية مع أماديوس للاستفادة من خدمة "الوثيقة الإلكترونية متعددة الاستخدام (EMD)" من أماديوس والتي تمكّن وكلاء السفر من إصدار وثائق تخص جميع الخدمات المتعلقة بالسفر، بما في ذلك خدمات الطيران المنفصلة. كما توفر هذه الخدمة لوكالات السفر إمكانية مشاهدة جميع خيارات السفر ضمن سجل واحد لأسماء الركاب. وتمتاز الخدمة بإمكانية دمجها في مهام عمل وكلاء السفر، وهي متوافقة بشكل كامل مع أحدث معايير القطاع التي اعتمدها الاتحاد الدولي للنقل الجوي (الأياتا).
وتم إطلاق كلا الخدمتين في الإمارات ضمن برنامج تجريبي، وسيتم تطبيق الخدمتين في أسواق عالمية أخرى.
