Emirates to launch new service to Porto

Emirates announced it will launch a four times weekly service between Portugal’s second largest city, Porto, and Dubai, from 2 July 2019.
Porto will become Emirates’ second destination in Portugal after its capital, Lisbon, which the airline currently serves with two flights a day. The flight will be operated by a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft in a three-class cabin configuration, offering eight private suites in First Class, 42 lie flat seats in Business Class and 310 spacious seats in Economy Class.
Emirates’ new service will provide travelers in northern Portugal, a major urban area, as well as those in the north-west of Spain in cities such as Vigo and Santiago de Compostela, due to its close proximity to Porto, with a direct option to travel to Dubai, and onward to destinations across the airline’s global network, particularly in Africa, Asia, Australia and the Middle East.
The flight between Dubai and Porto will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, and depart Dubai as EK197 at 0915hrs and arrive in Porto at 1430hrs. The return flight, EK198, will depart Porto at 1735hrs and land in Dubai at 0415hrs the next morning. The schedule enables travelers to easily and conveniently connect to Emirates’ flights from Dubai International Airport to popular destinations, such as Luanda, Johannesburg, Bangkok, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Melbourne and Sydney, amongst others.
Situated along the coast and on the Douro River, Porto is world famous for its Port wine production and historical city Centre, a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. Besides offering a rich cultural heritage and variety of tourist attractions, Porto is also an important trade and industrial city, attracting business travelers.
Customers across all cabin classes can look forward to award winning levels of comfort and care when travelling with Emirates, from the warm hospitality of its multinational cabin crew, including Portuguese nationals, to having access to over 4000 channels of on demand audio and visual entertainment from the latest movies, music and games on its ice system, as well as regionally inspired meals and complimentary beverages. Families are also well catered for with dedicated products and services for children.
The new service will also enable Emirates Sky Cargo to offer up to 18 tons of cargo capacity on the flight, giving local businesses the opportunity to increase their exports.

بورتو تنضم إلى شبكة خطوط طيران الإمارات

أعلنت طيران الإمارات عن اعتزامها إطلاق خدمة جديدة بمعدل أربع رحلات في الأسبوع إلى مدينة بورتو، التي ستصبح ثاني وجهة للناقلة في البرتغال بعد العاصمة لشبونة، وذلك اعتباراً من 2 يوليو -تموز 2019.
وسوف تخدم طيران الإمارات رحلاتها إلى بورتو، ثاني أكبر مدن البرازيل بعد لشبونة، بطائرات البوينغ 777-300 ذات المدى الممدد بتقسيم الدرجات الثلاث: 8 أجنحة خاصة في الأولى، و42 مقعداً يتحول إلى سرير شبه مستو في درجة رجال الأعمال، و310 مقاعد مريحة مع مساحات رحبة بين الصفوف لتمديد القدمين في السياحية. وتخدم طيران الإمارات حالياً العاصمة البرتغالية برحلتين يومياً بطائرات من الطراز ذاته.
وسوف توفر خدمة طيران الإمارات الجديدة للمسافرين من وإلى شمال البرتغال، وكذلك للمسافرين من وإلى مدن في شمال غرب إسبانيا قريبة من بورتو مثل فيغو وسانتياغو دي كومبوستيلا، خيار السفر بسهولة إلى دبي وعبرها إلى مختلف الوجهات ضمن شبكة خطوطها العالمية، خصوصاً في أفريقيا وآسيا وأستراليا والشرق الأوسط.
وسوف تعمل الرحلة بين دبي وبورتو في أيام الثلاثاء والخميس والسبت والأحد. واعتباراً من 2 يوليو-تموز المقبل، ستغادر الرحلة "ئي كيه 197" مطار دبي الدولي في الساعة في الساعة 9:15 صباحاً وتصل إلى بورتو في الساعة 2:30 بعد الظهر. أما رحلة العودة "ئي كيه 198"، فسوف ستغادر بورتو في الساعة 5:35 مساءً وتهبط في دبي في الساعة 4:15 صباح اليوم التالي. ويتيح توقيت الوصول للركاب مواصلة سفرهم بسهولة على رحلات طيران الإمارات من مطار دبي الدولي إلى وجهات شهيرة، مثل لواندا (أنغولا) وجوهانسبرغ وبانكوك وشنغهاي وهونج كونج وملبورن وسيدني وغيرها.
تقع بورتو على الساحل الشمالي للبرتغال عند مصب نهر دورو، وتعد مدينة تجارية وصناعية مهمة، ما يجذب المسافرين من رجال الأعمال. كما أدرجت اليونسكو وسط بورت التاريخي على قائمة التراث العالمي، حيث يضم معالم تراثية وثقافية عديدة تشكل عناصر جذب للسياح.
ويحظى ركاب طيران الإمارات في جميع الدرجات بمستويات راقية من الراحة والرعاية من أفراد أطقم الطائرات على اختلاف جنسياتهم، بمن فيهم مضيفات ومضيفون برتغاليون. كما يستمتعون بأكثر من 4000 قناة مسموعة ومرئية يوفرها نظام طيران الإمارات للمعلومات والاتصالات والترفيه الجوي ice، تعرض أحدث الأفلام والموسيقى والألعاب، بالإضافة إلى خدمات الطعام والشراب المتفوقة. وتستأثر العائلات بمزيد من الاهتمام بفضل المنتجات والخدمات المخصصة للأطفال.
من خلال الخدمة الجديدة، ستوفر "الإمارات للشحن الجوي" حمولة 18 طناً من مختلف الشحنات على كل رحلة في كل اتجاه، ما يتيح للشركات البرتغالية فرصاً أكبر لتصدير منتجاتها إلى أسواقها التقليدية ودخول أسواق جديدة.
