Emirates Group announces 2017-18 results

Group records 30th consecutive year of profit of AED 4.1 billion (US$ 1.1 billion)
•    Solid business growth in line with capacity increases leading to a record revenue of more than AED 100 billion (US$ 27.2 billion) for the 1st time.
•    Improved cash balance of AED 25.4 billion (US$ 6.9 billion).
•    Declares a dividend of AED 2.0 billion (US$ 545 million) to the Investment Corporation of Dubai.

 

Emirates reports a profit of AED 2.8 billion (US$ 762 million), 124% better than the previous year
•    Airline capacity crosses 61 billion ATKM with a net addition of 9 new aircraft to the fleet.
•    Revenue increases by 9% to AED 92.3 billion (US$ 25.2 billion), supported by strong cargo performance.

 

Dnata makes highest profit ever, at AED 1.3 billion (US$ 359 million)
•    Record revenue of AED 13.1 billion (US$ 3.6 billion) reflects further business expansion, with international business now accounting for 68% of revenue.
•    Expands global footprint with ground handling acquisitions in the Americas, adds new facilities and service capabilities across its airport operations, catering, and travel services divisions.

 

The Emirates Group announced its 30th consecutive year of profit and steady business expansion.
Released in its 2017-18 Annual Report, the Emirates Group posted a profit of AED 4.1 billion (US$ 1.1 billion) for the financial year ended 31 March 2018, up 67% from last year.

 

The Group’s revenue reached AED 102.4 billion (US$ 27.9.billion), an increase of 8% over last year’s results, and the Group’s cash balance increased by 33% to AED 25.4 billion (US$ 6.9 billion) supported by the bond issued in March and strong sales due to the early Easter holidays at the end of March.

 

In line with the overall profit, the Group declared a dividend of AED 2.0 billion (US$ 545 million) to the Investment Corporation of Dubai.

 

In 2017-18, the Group collectively invested AED 9.0 billion (US$ 2.5 billion) in new aircraft and equipment, the acquisition of companies, modern facilities, the latest technologies, and staff initiatives.

مجموعة الإمارات تواصل تحقيق الأرباح للسنة الـ30 على التوالي

المجموعة سجلت أرباحاً قدرها 4.1 مليارات درهم (1.1 مليار دولار أميركي)  للسنة المالية 2017/ 2018
•    نمو قوي في الأعمال يواكب زيادة السعة يقفز بالعائدات إلى أكثر من 100 مليار درهم (27.9 مليار دولار) للمرة الأولى
•    ارتفاع الأرصدة النقدية إلى 25.4 مليار درهم (6.9 مليارات دولار)
•    مليارا درهم (545 مليون دولار) حصة مؤسسة دبي للاستثمارات الحكومية من الأرباح

 

طيران الإمارات حققت أرباحاً قدرها 2.8 مليار درهم (762 مليون دولار) بنمو 124% عن السنة الماضية
•    السعة تتجاوز 61 مليار طن كيلومتري مع إضافة 9 طائرات جديدة
•    نمو العائدات بنسبة 9% إلى 92.3 مليار درهم (25.2 مليار دولار) مدعومة بالأداء القوي لعمليات الشحن

 

دناتا سجلت أعلى أرباح في تاريخها قدرها 1.3 مليار درهم (359 مليون دولار)
•    عائدات قياسية 13.1 مليار درهم (3.6 مليارات دولار) عكست توسع الأعمال، وعملياتها العالمية تساهم الآن بـ68% من العائدات
•    وسعت تواجدها العالمي بشراء شركات مناولة أرضية في الأميركتين، وأضافت مرافق وإمكانيات لأداء خدمات جديدة في عمليات المطار والشحن والتموين وخدمات السفر

 

أعلنت مجموعة الإمارات عن مواصلتها تحقيق الأرباح وتوسيع عملياتها للسنة الثلاثين على التوالي.
وأظهر التقرير السنوي 2017/ 2018، الذي أطلقته مجموعة الإمارات اليوم أن أرباحها عن السنة المالية المنتهية في 31 مارس (آذار) 2018 بلغت 4.1 مليارات درهم (1.1 مليار دولار أميركي)، بنمو نسبته 67% مقارنة بالسنة الماضية. كما بلغت عائدات المجموعة 102.4 مليار درهم (27.9 مليار دولار) بنمو 8% عن نتائج العام الماضي، وزادت الأرصدة النقدية بنسبة 33% إلى 25.4 مليار درهم (6.9 مليارات دولار) مدعومة بإصدار السندات في مارس (آذار) الماضي، والنمو القوي للمبيعات قبيل عطلة الربيع أواخر مارس (آذار).

 

وأعلنت مجموعة الإمارات عن تقديم ملياري درهم (545 مليون دولار)، حصة المالكين من الأرباح، إلى مؤسسة دبي للاستثمارات الحكومية.

 

 واستثمرت المجموعة خلال السنة المالية 2017/ 2018 ما إجماليه 9 مليارات درهم، (2.5 مليار دولار) لشراء طائرات ومعدات جديدة، وإنشاء مرافق حديثة وتطوير المرافق القائمة، وجلب أحدث التقنيات وتوظيف المزيد من الكفاءات البشرية وتطوير مهاراتهم.
