Emirates and Jetstar launch new codeshare and frequent flyer agreement

Emirates and Jetstar have announced an agreement which is set to open up new destinations for Emirates passengers across Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia.
Emirates’ code will now be placed on a number of routes operated by Jetstar Airways in Australia and New Zealand and Jetstar Asia, giving passengers access to 27 new routes and six new destinations such as Bali in Indonesia, Byron Bay in Australia, Dunedin in New Zealand and Siem Reap in Cambodia*.
Members of Emirates Skywards, the airline’s frequent flyer programme, will be able to earn Miles for flights on Jetstar-operated routes which have the Emirates code, they will also be able to use their Miles to purchase reward flights on any Jetstar operated route**
From 6 April, all Emirates’ passengers on Jetstar flights will receive boarding passes on check-in at their first international departure point for connecting international services.
The codeshare includes seven domestic routes in Australia to add to the 50 that Emirates already codeshares with cornerstone investor in the Jetstar Group, Qantas; four new routes in New Zealand, six new routes between Australian and New Zealand over the Tasman Sea and ten international routes out of Singapore to Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand and Hong Kong.

طيران الإمارات تبرم اتفاقية رمز مشترك مع جت ستار

وقعت طيران الإمارات وخطوط جت ستار اتفاقية رمز مشترك، تفتح من خلالها الناقلة العديد من الوجهات الجديدة أمام المسافرين إلى أستراليا ونيوزيلندا وعدد من الوجهات في جنوب شرقي آسيا.
وبموجب الاتفاقية الجديدة، سيتم استخدام رمز الرحلات الخاص بطيران الإمارات على العديد من الرحلات التي تقوم خطوط جت ستار بتسييرها في أستراليا ونيوزيلندا فضلاً عن رحلاتها إلى آسيا. مما سيتيح للمسافرين خيارات للسفر عبر 27 وجهة دولية إلى جانب 6 وجهات جديدة مثل بالي في إندونيسيا، جزيرة هاميلتون في أستراليا، ديوندن في نيوزلاندا وسيام ريب في كمبوديا، شريطة الحصول على الموافقة التنظيمية .
كما ستتيح الاتفاقية لأعضاء برنامج سكاي واردز طيران الإمارات، الخاص بمكافأة ولاء المسافرين الدائمين، اكتساب أميال على الرحلات التي تشغلها جت ستار وتحمل رمز رحلات طيران الإمارات. كما سيكون بإمكانهم أيضاً استخدام أميال سكاي واردز المتاحة في رصيدهم لشراء رحلات مكافأة على أي وجهة تخدمها جت ستار، ما عدا رحلاتها في منطقة المحيط الهادئ.
واعتباراً من 6 أبريل المقبل، سيحصل عملاء طيران الإمارات المسافرين على رحلات جت ستار على بطاقات صعود إلى الطائرة لدى إنجاز إجراءات سفرهم في المطار الذي تبدأ به رحلاتهم.
وتغطي اتفاقية الرمز المشترك سبعة وجهات محلية في أستراليا ستنضم إلى 50 وجهة ترتبط فيها طيران الإمارات باتفاقية رمز مشترك مع كوانتاس؛ فضلاً عن أربع وجهات جديدة في نيوزيلندا؛ وست جديدة تربط بين أستراليا ونيوزيلندا عبر بحر تسمانيا؛ بالإضافة إلى عشرة مسارات دولية انطلاقاً من سنغافورة إلى إندونيسيا، كمبوديا، فيتنام، ماليزيا، تايلاند وهونغ كونغ.
