The Ministry of Civil Aviation announced on 23 May 2025 that EgyptAir signed an agreement with Airbus to acquire ten Airbus A350-900 aircraft, expanding EgyptAir’s 70-aircraft current fleet.
Each aircraft will accommodate 340 passengers across Business and Economy Class and is equipped with advanced technologies, including Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines and a Panasonic flight entertainment system.
The A350 is designed for optimal efficiency, delivering up to a 25 percent reduction in fuel consumption. This reduction significantly lowers noise and carbon emissions and contributes to EgyptAir's sustainability goals.
