EgyptAir selects Safran for A330 thrust reversers maintenance

EgyptAir has signed a contract with Safran Nacelles, who will deliver maintenance services on thrust reversers for the airline’s Airbus A330 jetliner fleet. The A330s are powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines of which Safran serves as the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for Trent 700 thrust reversers.
As per the agreement, the service will include both scheduled soft time maintenance, as well as preventive primary maintenance performed at specific operator-chosen intervals. The latter can be adjusted to coincide with the airline’s operational schedule, while also facilitating coverage for unscheduled repair work and asset management.

وقعت مصر للطيران عقدا مع شركة Safran Nacelles، التي ستقدم خدمات صيانة الدفع المعاكس لأسطول شركة الطيران طراز إيرباص 330، المزود بمحركات رولز رويس ترينت 700. وتعد Safran Nacellesالشركة المصنعة للمعدات الأصلية (OEM) للدفع المعاكس لمحركات ترينت 700.
ووفقا للاتفاق، سوف تشمل الخدمة كل من الصيانة المجدولة، والصيانة الأولية الوقائية والتي تتم في فترات محددة. ويمكن إجراء التعديلات لجدول الصيانة وفقا للجدول التشغيلي لشركة الطيران، إضافة إلى تسهيل أعمال الصيانة غير المجدولة وإدارة الأدوات.
