In light of the instructions of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and as part of the ambitious plan set by the national carrier of Egypt – EgyptAir – aiming to reach new destinations and to enhance its footprint in the domestic and international markets in light of the repercussions of the spread of the Corona Virus (Covid-19), both EgyptAir and Air Cairo declared signing a preliminary MoU to enhance strategic positioning, support and sustain networks and fleet that will add new customers to both airlines and will provide competitive advantages to the customers.
The MoU includes implementing a number of activities such as exchange of interlining, Special Prorate Agreements (SPAs), Code-sharing on domestic and international routes and Schedule Coordination from/to Alexandria, Sharm El- Sheikh, Hurghada, Assuit and Sohag airports.
