Air Arabia, took delivery of its first A320 aircraft of the year, bringing its total fleet to 30 aircraft. It has now received nine of the 44 A320 aircraft it ordered from Airbus in 2007.
Air Arabia plans on six aircraft to be delivered in 2012. Once completed in 2016, the delivery of the 44 A320 aircraft will more than double the size of Air Arabia’s existing fleet, bringing the airline’s total operating fleet to over 50 aircraft.
