Air Algerie to buy 40 planes starting from 2018

Air Algerie is planning to launch a new program for the acquisition of around 40 aircraft between 2018 and 2025, CEO of the company Mr. Mohammed Abdou Bouderbala said.
The purchases will be in accordance with the various funding formulas, including sales via leasing. The implementation of the first part of the purchase plan will be in the period between 2018 and 2020, according to Mr. Bouderbala, adding that in 2018 the air fleet will be strengthened by four planes, while the second part will be in the period 2020-2025. This program will allow the company to raise its fleet to about one hundred, which is currently 60 aircrafts.

الخطوط الجوية الجزائرية تعتزم شراء 40 طائرة ابتداءً من 2018

قال رئيس مجلس الإدارة والرئيس التنفيذي للخطوط الجوية الجزائرية السيد محمد عبدو بودربالة أن للشركة برنامج لتوسيع أسطولها بين سنتي 2018 و2025 الذي سيتم من خلاله الحصول على أربعين طائرة إضافية ذات الهيكل العريض.
هذه الطلبيات ستختلف من حيث شكل الشراء بما في ذلك عقود الإيجار كما سيتم تقسيم البرنامج إلى مرحلتين، المرحلة الأولى بين سنتي 2018 و2020 والثانية ستمتد من 2020 إلى 2025. خلال المرحلة الأولى، سيتم تسلّم أربع طائرات ثم استلام البقية خلال المرحلة الثانية وعموماً، فإن الهدف من ذلك هو زيادة أسطول الناقلة المملوكة للدولة من 60 طائرة في الوقت الحالي إلى 100 طائرة إثر هذا البرنامج.
