Air Algérie and ATR announced the signature of the first Digital Maintenance Documentation package to further strengthen the airline’s maintenance documentation system and optimize the maintenance and engineering operations for its fleet of 15 ATR aircraft.
Under the three-year contract, ATR will provide raw data of line maintenance publications in XML format to be uploaded to Air Algérie’s Maintenance Information System via AMOS. With the Digital Maintenance Documentation package, Air Algérie will save on time and costs, improve safety and compliance, shorten revision and preparation of processes, improve information consistency across aircraft manuals and automate revision tracking and document control.
