The Arab Air Carriers' Organization (AACO) is supporting the Aviation Carbon 2023, which will take place on 06-07 November 2023 at the Heathrow Marriott, London, UK.
This event will discuss and inform on market-based measures, such as CORSIA, the EU ETS, Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), Sustainability-Linked Finance, ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance), Carbon Removal Technology and to address Carbon Emissions from aviation. Aviation Carbon 2023 will be of interest to departments responsible for finance, operations, fuel, legal, regulatory, CSR and environment.
In addition, for the first time, this year's event will address topics related to the coverage of the Non-CO2 impacts of aviation on the climate, which has seen increasing interest by policymakers in tackling the issue as well as potential technical and operational measures being developed to mitigate the net warming impacts of contrails.
