Fraudulent “Arab Aviation Promo” e-mails advisory

The Arab Air Carriers’ Organization (AACO) identified spam emails in circulation which advise recipients that they have won a USD 1,000,000 prize in the fake “Arab Aviation Promo” contest.
The spam e-mail’s PDF attachment prominently features the logos of AACO, the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the International Air Transport Association (IATA), and the Aviation Insurance Association (AIA), identifies the address of the Arab Aviation Promo office as being the AACO Asia-Pacific Office in Bangkok, Thailand, and contains a signature claiming that it is Mr. Teffaha's which is not the case.
We highly advise the recipients of these fraudulent emails not to open the attached PDF to avoid all virus risks, and to immediately delete, without opening, any email message with the subject reading “Inquiry about prize”, “Travelers Award”, “Urgent: Authentcity Request”, “Details about the award” or any other suspicious email. We also advise the recipients not to reply to the sender or to call any of the phone numbers mentioned in the email or in the PDF.
رسائل بريد إلكتروني زائفة بشأن "جوائز الطيران العربي"

اكتشف الإتحاد العربي للنقل الجوي أن هناك رسائل بريد إلكتروني طفيلية (spam) مُتداولة تُخطر المتلقين بأنهم فازوا بجائزة قدرها مليون دولار أميركي لمشاركتهم في مسابقة زائفة بعنوان "جوائز الطيران العربي".
ومرفق بهذا البريد الإلكتروني ملف بصيغة PDF يحمل شعارات الإتحاد العربي للنقل الجوي والإتحاد الدولي للنقل الجوي (الأياتا) و"أفياشن إنشورنس أسوسياشن (AIA)" بصورة بارزة، ويُشير إلى عنوان مكتب "جوائز الطيران العربي" على أنه مكتب الإتحاد العربي للنقل الجوي لآسيا والمحيط الهادئ في بانكوك بتايلند، ويتضمن رسالة تحمل التوقيع المزيّف للسيد تفاحة.
ونتمنى على كل من يتلقى هذه الرسائل الإلكترونية الطفيلية عدم فتح المرفق بصيغة PDF لتفادي مخاطر الفيروسات ومحو هذه الرسائل الإلكترونية فوراً من دون فتحا. يمكن أن يكون عنوان هذه الرسائل الطفيلية على سبيل المثال لا للحصر: "Inquiry about prize"، "Travelers Award"، "Urgent: Authentcity Request"، "Details about the award"، أو أي رسائل ذات عناوين مشبوهة. كما نتمنى على كل من يتلقى الرسالة بعدم الرد عليها أو الإتصال بأي من الأرقام المجودة في الرسالة أو في مرفق الـPDF.
