Airport International Group (AIG) recently announced its November traffic results, exceeding records in year-to-date passenger volume (PAX) and aircraft movement (ACM).
Passenger traffic at QAIA during the month of November reached 454,984 PAX, witnessing a 3.5% drop compared to November 2011. Despite the lowered monthly passenger numbers, the latest figures pushed the year-to-date passenger numbers to 5,808,760 PAX from January to the end of November. This figure compares to 5,036,776 PAX for the same period in 2011, representing a noteworthy 15.3% increase. Meanwhile, aircraft movements during the month of November also witnessed a drop of 0.2% compared to the same month last year, registering 5,242 ACMs, taking the total year-to-date figures to 62,025 ACMs, up 6.3% over the same period last year.
