Queen Alia International Airport’s passenger traffic up 12.6%

Amman’s Queen Alia International Airport welcomed 599,683 passengers in October 2017, registering a significant 12.6% year-on-year leap in comparison to the same month of 2016.
The airport also experienced an impressive 12.6% improvement in cargo figures compared to October 2016 by handling 9,950 tons. Meanwhile, the airport recorded 5,536 aircraft movements (ACM) according to October 2017 statistics announced by Airport International Group.
Additionally, as of the end of October, QAIA had received a total of 6,802,053 passengers in 2017, resulting in a 6.6% year-to-date increase in passenger traffic in comparison to the same period in 2016. The airport also registered a minimal 1.4% rise in year-to-date aircraft movement figures, amounting to 63,445 by the end of October 2017. Moreover, Queen Alia International Airport handled 90,433 tons of cargo during the first 10 months of 2017, affecting a significant 7.5% increase.

عدد المسافرين في مطار الملكة علياء الدولي يرتفع بنسبة 12.6 بالمئة

إستقبل مطار الملكة علياء الدولي 599,683 مسافر في تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2017، وبذلك سجل عدد المسافرين إرتفاعا بنسبة 12.6 بالمئة مقارنة بالشهر نفسه من العام 2016. كذلك إرتفع معدل الشحن في المطار بنسبة 12.6 بالمئة مع 9,950 طن. كما رصد المطار 5,536 حركة للطائرات في الشهر المذكور .
هذا وإستقبل مطار الملكة علياء الدولي ما مجموعه 6,802,053 مسافر منذ بدية العام وحتى نهاية شهر تشرين الأول/ أكتوبر 2017، أي ارتفاع بنسبة 6.6 بالمئة مقارنة بالفترة نفسها من العام 2016. كما سجلت حركة الطائرات في المطار ارتفاعا بنسبة 1.4 بالمئة، حيث رصد المطار 63,445 حركة بنهاية شهر تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2017. كما شهد معدل الشحن في المطار إرتفاعا بنسبة 7.5 بالمئة في الأشهر العشرة الأولى من العام 2017 مقارنة بالفترة نفسها من العام 2016 مع 90,433 طنا.
